EVS Stories: What have I learnt during the project? – by Skaiste

I have spent almost a year in Romania and this year taught me practical things.

First and the main skill I came here for was public speaking. I felt like I needed to improve it, so I came to the project in which the main activity is to make public presentations.

Second, I got teaching skills. I had graduated from Lithuanian and Spanish philology, but there was no course of pedagogy, so as I decided to teach Spanish, and I had to plan the classes by myself.

Third, I got some digital skills. I have learnt to administrate Facebook page, to work with Canvas program. We create postcards by Canvas to post them on Facebook and Instagram.

It may look that I haven’t learnt much, but I think the usefulness is what matters. But I am really glad that I got these skills, I think they will help me a lot in the future and I hope to learn even more in these almost two months left of the project.
