”Bună”, I’m Aladine from Reunion Island.
I’m 21 years old. I’m here for the project Carnaval Nonformal III, an EVS project, for 7 months.
When I came here , I didn’t know how it going to happen. This is the first time for me in Europe . Bucharest to Baia Mare by train , its a really long trip and in the end I discovered Baia Mare. They say that it’s little town, but for me it’s a big city with large street. Everything is different for me, the climate also is cold for me. And now, in the summer time is different than in Reunion Island.
At the beginning , I had problems to understand when people were speaking to me because of the language barrier, and I am trying my best to speak in English. I meet new people, new mentalities and I tried to adapt.
Living with other people its not difficult, its simple but you need to speak, to have communication its the most important when you have to live with other people.
I want to improve my English during my project and also to learn new languages too.
About my project I think that I’m not doing the best of it during my activities, I can do more and better. And I will do it till the end. But sometimes I’m lost, I need to be patient, I have to focus more and sometimes it’s happen that I’m not satisfied with my work.
It’s my fourth month here, I don’t miss my country and my family, at the beginning yes of course, but now no, I feel weird and I hope I will be better. I want to do the best from this.
”Mulțumesc! La revedere.”
