Remembering the summer (IV) – by Chloe Colinet de Labeau

The month of August, full of encounters and full of emotion, a pure month of happiness!

The month of August, what to say? It was the last month of summer, last month of summer camps before the start of the school year! And yesssss, all our little “copii” back to school!

It was with great passion and emotions that we have organized and lived the last summer camps.

And yes, I have poured a small tear. 😉

I would like to say thank you to all the wonderful children who participated, the parents that had faith in us and Team for Youth Association, that gave us the possibility to realize this project!

You have to know, my lovely ”copii”, that I’ll always remember your smile on your tiny faces! They went to my heart, it’s a happiness that is never going to light off!

The month of August was also the month when I finally saw my family after 5 months! And yeah, my adorable parents, came to visit me in Romania, SUPER COOL!

I could take holidays!!! One entire week, YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!!

We visited a lot of cities and a lot of places in Romania – it was amazing! In Maramures, a thousand of monasteries, all more beautiful than the others. Also the Merry Cemetery, with all those colorful tombs with beautiful drawings. We also visited the prison of communism in Pitești, absolutely incredible and especially rich of documentation that helped us understand the story of Romania in the communist period. We also visited Sighetu – Marmatiei, Bucovina, splendid region and Prislop, completely sensational!!!! But moreover, along the road, we met a lot of cool Romanian people.
