”We wanted to collect testimonies on ethnic discrimination, specifically rroma, but it was hard to identify ways to convince this community to share their stories. We lack a true understanding of how to build trust and facilitate dialogue with them.”
”We wanted to expose some ethnic and racial stereotypes and start an anti-discrimination debate from them. We launched a public call for people to tell their experiences on when they were treated differently based on their appearance or nationality. Then Zineb selected the most relevant stories, created support layouts, chose some matching symbolic objects and organized them into an exhibition in a central square. The exhibition was completed with a gallery of short biographies of successful people from discriminated groups. At all times visitors could write their impressions or tell their discrimination experiences and add to the exhibition. Zineb was interacting with the public and sharing her personal example and stories.”
