Volunteering Opportunity: ”Vol Center Skopje” – in North Macedonia

Volunteers Centre Skopje has existed over 18 years. We are one of the leading NGOs in Macedonia when it comes to youth exchange, voluntarism, activism, a recognizable brand and a trusted partner through which over 8500 Macedonian and foreign volunteers and youth activists have passed.

Our main goal as an organization is to give non- formal educational opportunities to young people, in different fields, both locally and internationally.

Volunteer profile:

• Aged between 18 and 30.
• Resident of an ESC participating country.
• Are curious and eager to explore new cultures.
• Have at least basic communication in English.
• Can adapt easily to new environments and team dynamic.
• Can work in teams and follow the given instructions responsibly.

As a volunteer, you will be assigned to one of 16 departments, each handling a different part of the EYOF 2025 event organization. Your specific role will depend on the needs of the department and your profile, but examples include:

• Accreditation: Distributing and checking cards.
• Transportation: Guiding athletes and teams.
• Sports Areas: Support in competitions, equipment transportation.
• Delegation Assist: Guidance, accompaniment to country teams.
• Media & Promotion: social media, brochure distribution.
• Logistics & Office: Material transportation, shift support.

As a volunteer, you will benefit of:

• 4 euros per day pocket money,
• accommodation,
• 3 meals per day,
• SIM cards.

Accommodation provided in a student dormitory called Pelagnojia, located in Kisela Voda, one of the neighborhoods in Skopje.
The dormitory has Wi-Fi, washing and drying machines, blankets and bed sheets.

City Center and bus station are located only 20-minute walk away from the dormitory.

The volunteers will have meals provided at the accommodation or at their workplaces. If you have any special Dietary requirements or ALLERGIES, make sure you inform us before coming here.
