Hello everyone, I’m Muhammed Fuat, from Turkey. I’m 24 years old. I’m an engineering student.
I usually don’t talk to people much because of my job and I deal with technical matters. For me, this project was to meet more people, improve my foreign language skills development CV for an engineering student like me and do all these while volunteering and helping people.
The city I am in is a beautiful and green area in the north of the country, but people from different countries do not come here very often. That’s why when we attend events, people make an effort to talk and meet people from different cultures. They ask questions about the country I come from, they get new and different information. And thanks to them, we can obtain very different information.
During the project, we organized various events and worked with local communities. Also, coming together with people from different languages and cultures and working towards the same goal improved my skills such as tolerance, patience and communication.
In this project, I mostly work on digital issues and try to reach people who do not have information about our project through social media. Sometimes I make presentations on different topics and help other volunteers.
