Proiectul “Best Way, No Waste!” își propune să crească gradul de conștientizare cu privire la subiectul deșeurilor și, mai ales, al risipei alimentare. În urma participării la acest schimb de tineri, participanții se vor apropia de ideea că dacă nu producem deșeuri (sau reducem numărul de deșeuri produse), protejăm mediul.În timpul acestui proiect se va lucra în principal la strategiile de reducere a deșeurilor, pentru a reflecta apoi asupra modului în care putem da o a doua viață produselor risipite, înainte ca acestea să devină deșeuri permanente. Vom face acest lucru prin implementarea de ateliere de gătit fără deșeuri, ateliere de reciclare și prin participarea la acțiuni de redistribuire a alimentelor în piețele locale.

When I finished my activities in the school, I started thinking about the summer camps because the last part of my project consisted of that. The last volunteers told me a lot about their experience in the summer camps, they remembered the summer period as the best time spent here in Romania.

When I was preparing the summer camps, I started to think how it would be. If we would have a lot of children, if they would be very energetic or not, if they would like our activities, if we would be able to handle all the responsibility and how the places would be as well. I was very excited to start, I was very curious to see how the children will react to our presence.
