Opportunity to volunteer: Caritas Koszalin in Poland

Volunteer profile:

  • Citizen of Romania.
  • Young, enthusiastic, and highly motivated to engage in meaningful volunteer work.
  • Sees long-term volunteering as a chance for personal growth and becoming an active citizen.
  • Willing to learn new skills and gain experience in different fields.
  • Respects people from different cultures and is open to working in diverse teams.
  • Strongly believes in values like social justice, equality, and solidarity.
  • Aged between 18-30 years old.

The volunteer tasks will be:

  • Create, edit, and share content for social media platforms to engage the public.
  • Support food distribution and logistics during holiday periods.
  • Help with childcare and organize workshops (e.g., music, cooking).
  • Assist with educational and cultural activities.
  • Help organize children’s projects, local events, fundraisers, and eco-friendly initiatives.
  • Take part in hands-on tasks or lead creative projects.

As a volunteer, you will benefit of:

  • Accommodation in a fully furnished student residence (shared by up to 3 people).
  • Access to shared kitchen, bathroom, and common living spaces.
  • Bed linen provided; a kettle is supplied for the room; volunteers should bring their own towels.
  • Volunteers will receive a monthly allowance of €180 (pocket money) + €199 (food allowance).

Round-trip travel costs are reimbursed according to ESC rules

  • Basic needs (e.g., small appliances, SIM card, GP visits) can be supported by the project.
  • Health insurance is provided through the project.
