My name is Sofya, I`m from Ukraine, an international relations and public communications student and a volunteer in T4UTH. Bună! Mă numesc Andrea, am 22 de ani și realizez programul European Solidarity Corps (ESC) la Asociația Hors Pistes în Marseille, Franța. ESC este un program de voluntariat finanțat de Uniunea Europeană pentru tineri între 18 și 30 de ani unde participanții își pot alege să lucreze într-un proiect la o asociație în altă țară timp de maxim un an. Totul este gratuit (cazare, transport etc.) și se primește și o indemnizație lunară pentru nevoile de bază, care diferă de la o țară la alta.

Spre a înțelege o populație, cred că este fundamental să le înțelegi cultura pentru a putea comunica și pentru a te putea pune în locul celorlalți. Bazele fundamentale ale culturii romilor sunt respectul, adevărul, bunătatea, fraternitate, modestia și decența.
