    Firstly, I was at Connector training together with other volunteers from our association. Although it was very intensive, I liked it very much because we had a lot of workshops from which to choose. My workshop was about public speaking, so I had the chance to learn a lot about myself and about how to speak in front of people.

    De când am ajuns la Bruxelles, oamenii din comunitatea L’Arche m-au întâmpinat cu bucurie şi dragoste necondiționată. Împreună cu alţi 5 voluntari, alcătuim o echipă responsabilă pentru sprijinirea celor 7 persoane cu dizabilități intelectuale care locuiesc în casa denumită ”La Branche”.

    Salut, eu sunt Camelia şi sunt unul dintre voluntarii asociaţiei “Team for Youth Association”. Sincer, deși am crescut şi m-am dezvoltat atât de mult în cadrul acestei asociaţii, niciodată nu voi uita cât de sfioasă am intrat prima dată pe portiţa de la sediu. Am început de la activităţi precum origami, la împărţit cartonaşe în diferite zile speciale pentru a le aminti oamenilor că merită să te bucuri de orice lucru mărunt.

    Proiectul “Picture of you, picture of me II” a oferit ocazia unui grup de 5 tineri români și un grup lider să petreacă 10 zile în Genova, Italia dezbătând noțiuni precum discriminare, toleranță și incluziune socială. Tinerii au învățat, de asemenea, să folosească metode precum fotografie, video și interviu pentru a prezenta situație din comunicare.
