We began to work for the Ioana Maria Association, which was created by a parent of the child with disabilities. It’s a very exciting and really interesting job. We take care of children with the help of some parents, and also Alex, psychotherapist, who is an amazing person. We organize courses with different things, the goal being to improve their physical abilities and the capacity of concentration.

Proiectul “Picture of you, picture of me II” a oferit ocazia unui grup de 5 tineri români și un grup lider să petreacă 10 zile în Genova, Italia dezbătând noțiuni precum discriminare, toleranță și incluziune socială. Tinerii au învățat, de asemenea, să folosească metode precum fotografie, video și interviu pentru a prezenta situație din comunicare.

Asociația de tineret IDEA (Agency of Local Development) caută un voluntar român care să se alăture echipei internaționale (Polonia, UK și Republica Cehă) care implementează activități de educație non-formală in centrele de tineret din orașul Alzira. Voluntarii vor organiza, în echipă, activități menite să atragă atenția asupra unor subiecte ca și șomajul în rândul tinerilor, oportunități internaționale, etc.

My typical week in Baia Mare is about working with children. I can improve my knowledge and my experience with this type of work, because these children can’t speak English, only Romanian. Sometimes it’s difficult.

I had been checking EVS projects for a long time before I chose ”ReAnimate” in Baia Mare (Romania). I started out of curiosity, as I was always busy, working and living abroad. But I think I knew that I would pursue EVS and make time for it before it was too late for my age.

Alexandru Rad – Despre voluntariat în Polonia

Alexandru Rad are 20 de ani și este voluntar în Polonia, în cadrul proiectului internațional ”Gimnazyum Z Oddzialamy Dwujezycznymi Nr 1”. Este din Petroșani și îi plac excursiile, filmele și plimbările în aer liber. Se află la mijlocul proiectului său, prima dată în Polonia, în frumosul orășel Klodzko. Este găzduit de partenerii noștri de la EFM (Europejskie Forum Młodzieży) și cadrul activității implementează ore de engleză și sport în Liceul nr. 1.
