EVS in ROMANIA: Rural Summer Camps

The Rural Summer Camps is an EVS project involving 12 youngsters divided in 2 groups. The group will start the activities in the summer of 2019, and will involve 8 volunteers from 3 different countries: Italy, Spain and Portugal. The aim of this project is to create the learning opportunity for the kids from rural areas near Baia

First thought I had when we had to plan the camps was “this is going to be hard”, and I have to say I was somehow right. It’s not that easy to prepare a camp, especially if you never did it before! But that is the reason why you have a team, once you understand that everything gets much easier.

Vim para a Roménia sem saber muito sobre o país. Queria ter novas experiencias e conhecer pessoas diferentes, assim sendo o local onde o faria não me importava muito, só queria ir para um país que nunca tivesse visitado antes. O resto seria uma surpresa.

Mă numesc Ana-Maria, 21 de ani, dintr-un sătuc micuţ de pe malul Prutului (însă de pe cealaltă parte – partea Republicii Moldova). În ziua în care mi-am susținut proiectul de finalizare a studiilor am aplicat la un proiect SEV fără mari speranţe. Despre proiect, ştiam doar că e în Łódź, Polonia, pe 11 luni şi activitatea de bază era lucrul în grădiniţă. Până la momentul în care am ajuns la destinaţie nu prea am avut întrebări, m-am lăsat dusă de val: ce-o fi o fi!
