Grenzenlos is a non-profit and non-governmental organisation, which main aim is to promote peace and tolerance through international non-formal education programmes that combine cultural integration with engagement in non-profit initiatives worldwide.

Project dates: 01.05.2024 – 31.10.2024 (6 months)

Volunteer profile:

  • This ESC placement at Grenzenlos is exclusively available for youngsters with disabilities
  • Between 18 and 30 years old
  • Motivated and eager to contribute to the work of our NGO
  • Interested in intercultural exchange and the world of volunteering

Tasks of the volunteer: daily work at the office, gather information, do research, visit organisations, speak to other volunteers, make the organisation more visible, and create promotional material. The volunteer has their tasks specifically tailored according to her/his skills, interests, and abilities. No previous experiences, skills, or knowledge are required.

As a volunteer, you will benefit of:

  • A Youthpass certificate attesting to the skills you have learned in the project
  • Pocket money, food allowance, and reimbursement of travel expenses up to the established limit
  • Complementary medical insurance for the entire duration of the mobility (HENNER)
  • Learning about working in an NGO, international youth exchanges, voluntary services, international initiatives, projects, strategies, and programs
