Imagine spending a whole year in Stuttgart, Germany, with the European Solidarity Corps! This is your chance to live a new adventure and grow.
From November 3, 2025, to October 31, 2026, you can join the Jugendwerk der AWO Württemberg team. You will help with important work, from daily office tasks like emails and cooking to creative activities like making flyers and managing social media. You will also help prepare and run fun camps and events for young people, organize cultural events, and even drive a van sometimes. This project is a great way to learn new skills and meet people from different cultures.
To join, you should be between 18 and 30 years old. It’s helpful if you speak a little English and German (A2 level), are open-minded, and have a driver’s license.

Volunteer profile:
- Must be between 18 and 30 years old.
- (sending project) so from our side – must be Romanian citizen!
- Have language skills in English and German (A2).
- Open-minded, reliable, like to show your own initiative and are flexible.
- Interested in intercultural work and are motivated for intercultural projects.
- Like office work, like writing emails, creating flyers for events .
- Basic computer knowledge and experience with social media.
- Have a standard EU driver’s license and are comfortable driving a van regularly.
The volunteer tasks will be:
- Help with daily office tasks like emails, shopping, tidying, and cooking
- Support the preparation and running of camps and seminars.
- Create and manage content for Instagram and Facebook.
- Design posters, flyers, and banners for events and projects
- Help update the organization’s website.
- Organize and host intercultural events like “Active Culture” and “Spracheteria.”
- Prepare games, films, and topics for cultural events.
- Take care of promotion and public relations for events.
- Manage and organize materials and inventory for seminars.
- Promote cultural exchange and active citizenship among young people.
As a volunteer, you will benefit of:
- Free accommodation in a student residence 2 minutes walk from the Jugendwerk office, with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities and your own furnished room.
- Pocket money and food allowance.
- ”Deutschland ticket” for public transport.
- German language course.
- Health insurance.
