The particular project goal is to increase respect for other cultures in Europe by way of youth exchange programmes. The volunteer will help in the process of planning and organising youth exchange visits, trips, and study trips. There is also the possibility to organise projects regarding the own country of the volunteers, such as musical evenings.
Project duration: 12 months (from August-September 2024)

Volunteer profile:
Between 20 and 30 years old,
Romanian citizens,
A person with a big interest in intercultural exchange,
Good German language skills,
Open, friendly, and teamworker.
As a volunteer, you will benefit of:
Pocket money, food allowance, and reimbursement of travel expenses up to the established limit
Accommodation (shared flat with single room)

A YOUTH PASS – Certificate of non-formal education. All these benefits are obtained through non-forma education, and they prepare young people for life through our activities in our organization.
An own project can be a reading from the volunteers’ land of origin; the volunteer giving a talk about the political situation or about the situation for young people in that country; a musical evening; the compilation of reports about similar events; above all, it is hoped the volunteers will discover (a) that they and the knowledge and the culture they embody are in demand and (b) that they can bring benefits and cultural enhancement to others. The volunteers will sit in on Foreign Institute team meetings at least once a week and thus become conversant with the planning and organisation details behind intercultural work.
