Hello, I’m Ella, I’m French and I’m 26 years old. I studied psychology in Bordeaux, France. I choose to do an EVS because I was a bit lost after my studies. I was looking for a new opportunity in order to expand my boundaries, gain experience, share thoughts and meet people who can have a great influence on my life.

Mă numesc Anca, am vârsta de 30 ani și sunt din București. Din mai până în iunie 2018 am avut plăcerea de a participa ca voluntar în orașul Gaziantep. Turcia este într-adevăr unul dintre locurile pe care le-aș putea considera ca a doua mea casă. Mi-ar plăcea să mai am ocazia să mă întorc aici.

Voluntariatul schimbă vieți, viețile celor care beneficiază de implicarea ta, dar mai cu seama viața ta. După SEV nu mai ești aceeași persoană și este o experiență care îți da un boost de energie pentru o lungă perioada de timp.

Now it’s been a little over a week since I came back to Austria and I’m struggling a bit to find words to describe how I’ve experienced this time. Leaving Romania and all the amazing people I met there was really hard for me, but I was looking forward to seeing my friends and family

“Para empezar, diré que es el final…”. This is the beginning of a song, it means: to start, I’ll say it’s the end. Because this, this is the end. EVS happens once. So it’s about living the moment. If you don’t, you loose the chance. But I don’t want to write something sad. I’m back in
