Merhaba! Sunt Alexandra Herpai și sunt voluntară într-un proiect EVS în Gaziantep, Turcia, pentru 2 luni. Am 26 de ani, am absolvit Facultatea de Arhitectură din Timișoara astă vară și vreau să mă specializez în arhitectura socială. Așa că am hotărât să studiez într-un mod non-formal problema refugiaților, modul lor de viață, valorile lor, etc.

I have been in Romania quite a while now and since I arrived I have been noticing some similarities between Portugal and Romania. I don’t know if it is a way, for me, not to miss Portugal so much or not to feel that I’m away from home, or, maybe, to see that each country has its own culture and values.

I’m Rafa. 23 years old, I had to stop my last year in university, so I decided to do this EVS that really looked like a good opportunity for my future. My studies are in FR and ENG translation, so I decided to go in that in order to improve my skills, learn another language and learn from professionals in Romania.

Salut! Ce faci? My name is Maria Dolores Maeso Rus (friends call me “Lola”). I´m 22 years old and I’m from Jaén, in the south of Spain, Andalusia. I am studying social work, but before finishing my studies, I decided to live an experience like volunteer. And… I never would have thought that this experience would mean so much to me.
