A short video documentary about how is life in Baia Mare for a handful of people that decided to call this city their home. Baptiste from France, Simone from Italy, Solvita from Latvia, Risto from Finland, Michael from Scotland and Samir from Afghanistan moved some time ago to Romania. Our EVS volunteers decided to ask them a few questions (and record their answers) about their adjustment period here in the city and about what made them stay. The video is part of the activities of the project ”IN 4 EVS” an international volunteering project financed by the European Commission trough the Erasmus Plus Project, involving 4 volunteers from Spain, Austria and Lithuania. The video was shot and edited in January – February 2018 and it offers another point of view on the perspective of living and working in our hometown.

A few insights about the ”Spanish Classes: Actidebate!” activity. This activity was created as part of the Social Hub personal projects of our EVS volunteer Inma Calderon. The students of ”Mihai Eminescu” Highs School Baia Mare met with the volunteer in weekly classes to discuss different topics and play social games using exclusively the Spanish language. The subtitles for the video are in English!

NEW year! NEW challenges and new resolutions!
We asked our volunteers Skaiste (Lithuania), Inma (Spain) and Sarah (Austria) to briefly describe their experiences in T4UTH! We hope that this short interview will inspire you to go in an international experience!
