What do you expect when you are going to start a EVS? In my case, my expectations were improving my English, immersing myself in a new culture, meeting interesting people and learning a lot of things. OK, I wasn’t wrong but what I learned throughout these four months in Romania is so much more complex that what I had expected. It’s as complex as life itself.

Hello there! Before I speak about my adventure as a volunteer, let me introduce myself. My name is Benjamin. I am 25 years old and I’m in Baia Mare for 4 months. I’m already here for two months and a half and I work in a project called SEV4x4.

In timpul petrecut aici de când am venit, pot spune că am învățat o sumedenie de lucruri, de la a face noduri adaptate pentru diferitele situații întâlnite, la mers cu canoe pe apă, până la a găti pentru zeci de oameni.
